I provide counseling, psychotherapy, art therapy, and hypnotherapy in Rocklin, entirely for adult individuals and couples (partnered or married). I specialize in PTSD and trauma recovery and processing with various approaches, including Brainspotting and EMDR, and I work with highly sensitive, empathic, and creative people. I focus on empowerment, reducing dysfunctional patterns and habits, and skills-building in the areas of anxiety, depression, anger, stress, self-confidence, self-acceptance, resiliency, and relationship health.
I believe in a holistic approach to therapy, integrating the physical, mental, and spiritual. I also believe that heart (inner spirit) and the use of creative expression (art), when explored with your mindful awareness, promotes your overall well-being (health); hence my motto 'Heart, Mind, & Health'. Together, you (your partner) and I work as a team to discover and nurture your inner resources and build supports for your growth and health. I can help with the unique journey that is you and help you be your best. Give me a call today at 916-905-4278 to get started, or email me.
I specialize in Art Therapy, which can be use in a variety of ways, or not at all, in our sessions together. Perhaps a portion or all of your session would work better by exploring an issue in a non-verbal manner. “Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life.” -Pablo Picasso
Have you ever felt unclear about what to say, how to say it, or perhaps there are no words yet? I can help you bridge the non-verbal and clarify the verbal by helping you access your creative resources through visualization. Art is one way to make a concrete visualization, and it does not require art skills. All you need is a desire to explore.
Part of what (art, hypno, play, & talk) therapy can do is clarify what you are seeing, thinking, and feeling.
Additional options such as Hypnotherapy, Brainspotting, and EMDR can help you work through stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, access and build your resources and resiliency, explore your issues, and grow. As an EMDR practitioner (Level 2) and certified Brainspotter and hypnotherapist (CHT), I currently offer these therapeutic approaches for many issues. Change is not always easy, but I strive to learn and grow. This, in turn, helps me be a better therapist for you because I seek training to help you resolve and heal as safely and as quickly as possible. To learn more about these trainings visit the resources section of this site.
Have you experienced trauma and now you are stuck in the present and unable to move forward?

I can help you bridge the non-verbal and clarify the verbal by helping you access your creative resources through visualization. Art is one way to make a concrete visualization, and it does not require art skills. All you need is a desire to be unstuck and grow.
